Design a Lab

Students research an idea, or identify an observation they have made. From the research and observations, students propose an experiment, demonstration, or a similar self-directed activity. This activity might take form in a wide variety of ways. The end product may be a class presentation, a report, a model, or another deliverable agreed upon by student and instructor. Timing for this activity might also vary. In some instances the activity may require a portion of student time over the course of weeks or a few months. In other instances, the activity may be able to be executed very quick – over a day or two.
